Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer (Buildings) for our Dallas, TX office to contribute to high-profile, sustainable building projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop electrical design documents, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and UPS systems, while ensuring compliance with codes.

Travel to project sites is required as needed, and you will mentor junior staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of post-education electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings and specifications for issuance to architects and contractors.
• Plan and execute electrical engineering tasks across projects.
• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and UPS systems.
• Maintain client relationships and attend stakeholder meetings.
• Guide junior staff and support project flow.
