Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a lighting/electrical emphasis required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Professional Engineering license is not required but pursuing licensure is encouraged.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is not required but pursuit of certification is encouraged.
• Pay Range: Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ, VA Areas-$100,000.00 - $145,000.00 Annually.

Responsibilities

• Creates electrical design documentation using Revit/AutoCAD and directs junior staff to convey design intent.
• Supervises staff to develop skills and guidance.
• Leads design development through sketches, calculations, diagrams, and models.
• Prepares and reviews site plans, floor plans and details across project phases.
• Coordinates with architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil disciplines for design compatibility.
• Performs advanced calculations and reviews building elements and electrical systems.
