Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Designer to support the Buildings team. You will work under close supervision on project tasks, assisting in designing electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and other low voltage systems for building projects.

You will perform design tasks using Revit and AutoCAD, conduct engineering calculations, and collaborate with other disciplines, under the guidance of a senior engineer/designer. This role includes field work and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• EIT credentials and/or licensure pursuit a plus.
• Co-op/internship experience at an A/E firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical design documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Perform electrical calculations for building components using standard software.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers under senior guidance.
• Assist with field work and data collection to support design decisions.
• Learn and perform duties as assigned by senior staff.
