Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC seeks an Electrical Designer to develop permit drawings and construction documents for complex electrical installations. This role collaborates with field electricians, project managers, and BIM teams to deliver fully constructible designs from small to large projects.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of power design experience, strong NEC knowledge, and proficiency in Revit, SKM/ETAP, and Bluebeam. Remote work options are available, with some travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years of electrical facilities power design experience.
• Experience in healthcare, heavy industrial, and/or mission critical projects desirable.
• Proficiency in Revit, Autodesk tools, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience performing engineering studies using SKM or ETAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares detailed electrical engineering permit drawings and construction installation documents to support field execution.
• Develops conceptual designs, sketches, and value engineering ideas to support project managers and estimators.
• Prepares electrical calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation throughout all phases of construction.
• Coordinates with vendors and reviews shop drawings to model accurate, fully constructible electrical systems in Revit.
• Leads small to mid-size projects as assigned and provides technical guidance to other designers and engineers.
• Stays current with new electrical and safety codes, materials, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, foremen, project teams, and suppliers.
