Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop permit drawings and construction documents for diverse projects across the country. The role bridges design and field execution, collaborating with field electricians, project managers, and BIM teams under licensed supervision.

The position requires an ABET-accredited degree, EIT/EI or PE eligibility, and 3–5 years of electrical facilities experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• EIT/EI certification or PE license; ability to sit for the PE exam within 1–2 years.
• 3–5 years of electrical facilities power design experience, including lighting and panel schedules.
• Proficiency in Revit and Autodesk tools; familiarity with SKM/ETAP is a plus.
• Strong reading of NEC and building codes; detail-oriented with strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical permit drawings and construction documents.
• Create conceptual designs, sketches, and value engineering ideas for planning.
• Prepare calculations, specs, and technical docs through all project phases.
• Review engineering studies (arc flash, short circuit, OCPD, duct ampacity).
• Coordinate with vendors and review shop drawings to model constructible systems.
