Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company, in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an Electrical Designer to transform concepts into constructible electrical solutions using REVIT and BIM tools. You will design power and control systems for diverse projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver innovative, reliable designs.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in MEP design, a BS in Engineering, and is authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an MEP Designer in the building construction industry.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency in REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan electrical power systems for various projects (commercial, education, healthcare, government, etc.).
• Design and specification of power and control systems, layouts, load calculations, equipment sizing and selection, lighting calculations.
• Collaborate with architects, outside consultants, code officials, and contractors.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines for integrated designs.
• Perform load calculations and equipment sizing, assist with electrical code research.
• Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs and submittals.
