Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Los Angeles, CA to lead design and delivery of electrical systems for complex buildings. The role emphasizes technical leadership, client interaction, and collaboration with architects and contractors.

The candidate will mentor junior staff, drive project execution, and oversee engineering standards. A PE license, Revit experience, and 10+ years in MEP are required. Hybrid work with in-office days in LA.

Qualifications

• Must have a PE license and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience as an MEP Engineer in building systems or infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of building and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers.
• Lead project execution from concept through construction administration.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, practices, and QA procedures.
• Collaborate with PMs on budgeting, scheduling, and staffing.
• Serve as Engineer of Record and communicate with clients.
