Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company, in Sacramento, CA, is seeking an Electrical Designer to transform concepts into constructible electrical solutions using design and BIM tools. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to bring projects from idea to reality, delivering innovative and reliable electrical systems.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with two in-office days per week, requires 4+ years in MEP design and a BS in Engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an MEP Designer in building construction.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• Proficiency in REVIT and industry-leading design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan electrical power systems for diverse project types.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing and selection.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, code officials and contractors.
• Support construction administration activities including RFIs and submittals.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated designs.
• Interface with code officials and contractors as needed.
