Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading electrical distributor, is seeking a motivated Counter Sales Representative to support customers and promote products. You will assist buyers during the sales process using ERP software, process orders, and maintain strong relationships with customers and teammates.

The role includes warehouse duties as needed and requires one year in the electrical industry, a high school diploma, good communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, as determined by Echo Electric.
• A minimum of one year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
• Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized and work within a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
• Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, while maintain professional sales demeanor.
• Ability to track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
• Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Actively stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock request.
• Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe and clean environment.
