Job summary

Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is seeking a motivated Counter Sales Representative to assist customers during the sales process, maintain product knowledge, and support warehouse functions. Compensation is $20-23/hour plus commission, with shift 8 AM–5 PM, Mon-Fri.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in the electrical industry, plus familiarity with ERP software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in the electrical industry and/or knowledge of electrical products.
• Ability to effectively communicate, stay organized and work within a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Completion of EDGE and EPEC Bronze Level or commitment to complete such training within 18 months of starting job assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers during the sales process using ERP software, while maintain professional sales demeanor.
• Ability to track and fulfill sales orders by picking orders, creating appropriate documentation, and placing follow-up calls.
• Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Actively stay up to date on product knowledge and generate product stock request.
• Create and maintain positive working relationships and a safe and clean environment.
