North Coast Electric in Portland, OR is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to support contractor, industrial, and OEM customers. You will handle quotations, order entry, and proactive service while building strong vendor relationships and contributing to growth opportunities.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and basic MS Office skills. On-site work with occasional extended hours supports a dynamic electrical distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience and electrical product knowledge preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel/Word.

Responsabilités

• Handle counter sales for contractor, industrial, and OEM markets.
• Prepare quotations, enter orders, track progress, provide proactive service.
• Support counter sales and other duties as directed.
• Build and maintain relationships with key vendors.
• Collaborate to grow gross margin and market share.
• Promote DOTP customer service guarantees to increase share.
• Engage Will Call customers and maintain display merchandising.
• Assist warehouse tasks as needed (wire cuts, packing).
• Other duties as assigned.
