Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled electrical installer in South Carolina to perform installation and checkout on diverse systems under guidance. You will collaborate with prime electrical contractors and interact with customers to ensure project confidence and satisfaction with the installation.

Responsibilities include installing raceways, cables, wiring, and control equipment, while adhering to local codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Working knowledge of local codes as it applies to controls.
• Experience with control installations.

Responsibilities

• Install raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes and customer system requirements.
• Lay out electrical controls installation to provide lowest total installed cost.
• Mounts and terminates control equipment as needed.
• May assist sales with electrical estimates, including walking retrofit projects.
• Communicate with the customer as necessary upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
