Job summary

Johnson Controls is a global leader in thermal management and building systems. The selected candidate will support customers in Appleton and Wausau, WI, performing installation and checkout of a variety of systems under supervision.

You will collaborate with Prime electrical contractors to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction with the system installation. Under the guidelines of Johnson Controls safety programs, you will lay out, install, terminate, and test control systems while

Qualifications

• Formal training in low voltage electrical installation techniques.
• Experience with conduit - bending and running.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Working knowledge of local codes for controls.
• Able to work independently.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install and checkout electrical systems per codes, drawings, and procedures.
• Work with Prime electrical contractors to ensure customer confidence.
• Interface with the customer to ensure satisfaction with installations.
• Install raceways, cables, and wiring to meet codes and requirements.
• Lay out control installations to minimize total installed cost.
• Mount and terminate controls equipment and verify terminations.
• Report job needs, progress and issues to management.
• Complete time sheets, expense reports, and site documentation.
