Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Controls Electrical Installer for the Franklin, Tennessee area. You will perform installation and checkout of electrical control systems, collaborating with prime contractors and interfacing with customers to ensure confident, high-quality installations.

You will guide field technicians, interpret drawings, comply with local codes, and participate in cost estimates as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience or 2-year degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in installation techniques.
• Possess journeyman electrical license.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Install and checkout electrical control systems per drawings and codes.
• Collaborate with Prime electrical contractors and interface with customers.
• Provide guidance to technicians on installation practices and cost estimates.
• Complete paperwork and on-site documentation, ensure safety policies are followed.
