Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Electrical Installer/Technician in Franklin, TN to perform installation and checkout of building systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and customer satisfaction. You will work with Prime electrical contractors and mentor junior staff to uphold quality and safety standards.

The role requires a journeyman license or equivalent, the ability to read drawings, and strong independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of experience or 2-year degree + 8 years of experience, or equivalent.
• Journeyman electrical license required or maintained.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and checkout on electrical systems per codes and drawings.
• Coordinate with Prime electrical contractors and interface with customers for satisfaction.
• Mentor and direct other technicians on installation practices and cost estimates.
• Complete paperwork including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
