Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced journeyperson electrician to install and checkout electrical systems on a variety of projects. You will work with Prime electrical contractors, interpret drawings, and ensure client confidence and satisfaction with the installation.

The role requires leading others, mentoring teammates, and supporting cost estimates for retrofit projects. A valid Journeyperson license and a clean driving record are essential; Johnson Controls provides a company

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Journeyperson Electrician License.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Working knowledge of local codes as they apply to controls.
• Able to work independently and lead others on multiple projects.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install raceways, cables and wiring to meet codes and customer needs.
• Mount and terminate controls equipment; deliver lowest installed cost.
• Mentor others as the local expert on electrical installation practices.
• Assist sales with electrical estimates and retrofit projects.
• Coordinate with customers; ensure site safety and satisfaction.
• Produce paperwork: timesheets, expense reports, as-built drawings.
