Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc invites applications for an Electrical Controls Graduate Engineer within the Graduate Engineering Program (GEP). You will participate in technical and leadership development, receive a mentor to support Chartered Engineer status, and contribute to high-priority projects across the Group Engineering function.

The program emphasizes growth in engineered solutions, plant equipment commissioning, and process improvements, with relocation across JM sites and a structured path

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Controls Engineering or similar field with minimum 3.2 GPA
• Willing to relocate to any JM site for three placements during the program and first role
• Demonstrated leadership and a proactive, collaborative mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships to achieve results

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineered solutions for production improving safety, sustainability performance, and reliability
• Commission new plant equipment and develop/deliver training for operators
• Mechanical and maintenance optimization
• Electrical AC Power Systems, Motors and Drives, Control Instrumentation and Grounding systems
• Implement standardized JM processes to drive continuous improvement toward goals
• Energy, water, waste and emission monitoring to drive sustainability opportunities
