Job summary

Johnson Matthey's Electrical Controls Graduate Engineer role in the US is part of our Graduate Engineering Program (GEP) based in West Chester, PA. You will develop engineered solutions for production, commission new plant equipment, train operators and drive improvements across safety, sustainability and reliability.

You’ll work with Electrical AC Power Systems, Motors and Drives, Control Instrumentation and Grounding systems, support energy and emissions monitoring, and relocate across JM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Controls Engineering or similar field (Minimum 3.2 GPA).
• Must be geographically flexible and relocate to any JM site for three placements during the program.
• Relocation assistance provided to those who geographically qualify as determined by placements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a true career aspiration to lead others; adaptable with a positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineered solutions for production improving safety, sustainability performance, and reliability.
• Commission new plant equipment and develop/deliver training for operators.
• Mechanical and maintenance optimization.
• Electrical AC Power Systems, Motors and Drives, Control Instrumentation and Grounding systems.
• Implement standardized JM processes to drive continuous improvement toward goals.
• Energy, water, waste and emission monitoring to drive sustainability opportunities.
