Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Manager, Electrical & Controls Engineering to lead the electrical power systems and controls for One MHS. This role directs design, development, and implementation of electrical distribution and control systems for material handling projects, while guiding a team of engineers to deliver safe, scalable, and reliable solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience and deep technical expertise in electrical power design, controls, and industrial networks,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years of industrial controls and automation experience or a Master's degree with related experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams or mentoring staff.
• Experience with TCP/ICP networking and IP protocols (DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, SNMP).
• Proficiency with electrical design software and control system concepts (PLC/SCADA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of electrical and controls engineers, driving technical excellence and accountability.
• Oversee design of power distribution and control systems for material handling projects.
• Direct development of layouts, schematics, control architectures, and panel standards.
• Manage in-field installation audits to ensure NEC and design compliance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and project management teams to deliver integrated solutions.
