Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join the ID&C group at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. This exempt, full-time role focuses on integrating motion and process control systems for precision testing and controlling test cells, including low-voltage power infrastructure.

You will work within a joint venture focused on AEDC operations, supporting mission-critical national security testing. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Mechatronics from an accredited college or university.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract compliance requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance and access AEDC networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop ID&C system requirements, sketches, specifications using CAD/CAE tools.
• Deploy, support, and monitor ID&C systems during aerospace ground test operations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot ID&C systems for ongoing lifecycle engineering and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain Automated Control and HMI software.
• Evaluate engineering methods and review technical design documents from vendors.
• Design, develop, and execute System Verification and Validation (V&V) test plans.
• Complete assigned tasks on schedule across the function.
• Wear PPE per policy and perform related duties as required.
