Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to support AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. The role focuses on motion and process control, test cell operations, and low-voltage power infrastructure integration for national-security testing.

You will design, develop, and verify ID&C systems, while maintaining safety and reliability of motors, rectifiers, load banks, and test hardware in a high-stakes aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Mechatronics from an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop ID&C system requirements, sketches, specifications, and material quantity estimates using CAD/CAE tools.
• Deploy, support, and monitor ID&C systems during aerospace ground test operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain ID&C systems and lifecycle engineering.
• Design, develop, and maintain Automated Control and HMI software.
• Review engineering analyses, drawings, and vendor/subcontractor recommendations.
• Design, develop, and execute System Verification and Validation test plans.
• Complete tasks on schedule using established work processes across the function.
• Wear PPE as directed and perform other related duties as required.
