Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to support AEDC testing at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. You will lead motion and process control integration, manage closed-loop operations for motors, compressors, and pneumatics to achieve precise test conditions, and oversee low-voltage power infrastructure for reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Mechatronics from an accredited college or university.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract compliance requirements and access to AEDC networks.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop ID&C system requirements, concept sketches, specifications, and material quantity estimates using CAD/CAE tools.
• Deploy, support, and monitor ID&C systems during active aerospace ground test operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and return ID&C systems to service while supporting lifecycle engineering and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain Automated Control and Human Machine Interface software.
• Evaluate standard engineering methods and review technical design documents, drawings, and vendor/subcontractor recommendations.
• Design, develop, and execute System Verification and Validation test plans.
• Complete assigned engineering tasks on schedule using common processes across the function.
