Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team at Arnold AFB, Tennessee. This vital role entails overseeing electrical distribution and utility control systems to ensure operational integrity and reliability. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and experience with industrial control systems are required.

The position offers a salary range of $78,000 - $110,000 based on experience level and includes competitive benefits such as healthcare and 401K matching.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with utility control systems.
Able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
Direct experience programming systems from Rockwell, GE, or Schneider Electric.

Responsibilities

Oversee utility control and monitoring systems at test facilities.
Manage the lifecycle of the Energy Monitoring and Control System.
Interface with Air Force counterparts to ensure compliance.

Skills

Hands-on experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA systems

Programming and troubleshooting systems from vendors

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols

Education

BS degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering
