Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking a Mid-Career Electrical Systems Engineer to support AEDC Test Operations at Arnold AFB, TN. You will oversee installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and arc-flash considerations for major electrical equipment to ensure test readiness for aerospace systems.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, US citizenship, and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain active security clearance and access to AEDC networks.
• US citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot systems and direct maintenance to ensure rapid return to service.
• Update and maintain system documentation for systems of responsibility.
• Collaborate with design engineering, fabrication shops, DoD client, and other contractors.
• Develop advanced maintenance plans with Asset Health Assurance personnel.
• Conduct and document system safety hazard analyses and write work instructions.
• Assess risk and communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop cost estimates for system improvement projects.
• Coordinate with planners and schedulers to execute maintenance, upgrades, and test projects.
• Provide technical leadership and assist craft personnel.
