Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking an Instrumentation, Data & Control (ID&C) Engineer for the Arnold Air Force Base, TN AEDC complex. You will join a tight-knit engineering team delivering high-precision instrumentation, data acquisition, and motion control for mission-critical testing.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years post-degree engineering experience, a clearance eligibility, and the ability to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance and access to AEDC networks.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal government contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design and ownership of instrumentation, data, and controls systems, including HMI software.
• Drive mission-critical test operations with ID&C system integration and rapid troubleshooting.
• Translate concepts into system requirements, specifications, and design calculations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and equipment manufacturers, managing schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold safety and quality standards.
