Beyond New Horizons (BNH) seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to join the Propulsion Instrumentation, Data and Controls group at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. You will drive motion and process control system integration, optimize test cell control systems, and manage low‑voltage power infrastructure to support critical AEDC test operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Mechatronics from an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance and maintain authorized user access to the AEDC LAN.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract compliance requirements and access to secure federal databases and networks on Arnold Air Force Base.

Responsabilidades

• Develop ID&C system requirements, concept sketches, specifications, and material quantity estimates using CAD/CAE tools.
• Deploy, support, and monitor ID&C systems before and during active aerospace ground test operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and return ID&C systems to service while supporting ongoing lifecycle engineering and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain Automated Control and Human Machine Interface (HMI) software.
• Evaluate standard engineering methods and review technical design documents from vendors and subcontractors.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive System Verification and Validation (V&V) test plans.
• Complete assigned engineering tasks on schedule using established work processes across the function.
• Wear company issued PPE as directed.
