Job summary

IREN, an on-site construction team in Sweetwater, TX, seeks a Construction Supervisor – Civil / Structural to lead earthworks, concrete, structural steel, paving and utilities for data-center projects.

You will supervise crews, read blueprints, enforce safety, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and ensure on-time, quality delivery in a high-tech environment with night shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in civil construction with 2+ years as a supervisor on data center/high-tech projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, earthworks, grading, paving, and underground utilities.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Familiar with Procore, Primavera, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities including earthworks, concrete, structural steel, and site utilities.
• Mentor subcontractors and ensure productivity and safety compliance.
• Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards, conducting regular inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor work progress and quality against engineering drawings, specifications, and standards; address deficiencies promptly.
• Collaborate with construction managers, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and align on goals.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.
• Identify and resolve on-site challenges to keep the project on track.
