Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support transmission, distribution, and substation projects in the Central Region. The role links project management, field operations, accounting, and clients to keep projects running smoothly from initiation to closeout.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in construction coordination, strong Microsoft Office and Procore skills, and are based in or willing to relocate to the metro area in MO/IA.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred in business or construction management.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction project coordination or administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore).

Responsibilities

• Provide project administration and coordination support to Project Managers and field leadership.
• Track project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines; maintain logs and documentation.
• Assist with cost tracking, purchase orders, and invoice processing; support change orders.
• Coordinate onboarding, compliance, and field staff documentation; attend project meetings and distribute summaries.
