Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking a highly organized Assistant Project Manager to support transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects within the Central Region. This role serves as a key link between project management, field operations, accounting, and clients to ensure projects run efficiently from initiation through closeout.

The Assistant Project Manager provides administrative and operational support to Project Managers and field leadership while maintaining

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Construction Management, or related field)
2–5 years of experience in construction project coordination or administration
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar platforms)
Must be based in or willing to relocate to the metro area.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day project coordination to support Project Managers.
Track project schedules, logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes across projects.
Assist with job cost tracking, purchase orders, and invoice processing, including cost coding coordination.
Coordinate onboarding documentation and compliance requirements for field staff and support project closeout documentation.
