Job summary

Enterprise Electrical in Austin, Texas is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects. You will assist the PM with planning, coordination, and day-to-day management while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget alignment.

Responsibilities include documenting field notes, preparing logs and reports, coordinating with vendors and clients, and supporting procurement and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical construction methods and project workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in managing day-to-day project operations.
• Support RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs.
• Organize weekly project schedules, manpower plans, material deliveries, and long-lead tracking.
• Attend project meetings and prepare notes or action items.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and updates for stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic site walks with PM or Superintendent.
• Assist with documenting field conditions and reporting delays.
• Coordinate with field leadership on goals, safety, and execution.
• Monitor labor hours, equipment usage, and material costs.
• Review purchase orders and subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
• Prepare weekly project summaries and cost-to-complete updates.
