Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineer II in Sacramento to provide technical engineering support, ensuring projects meet standards, codes, and specs. You will oversee junior engineers and coordinate with the project team across electrical disciplines.

You’ll develop power/lighting designs, prepare single-line diagrams, conduct short circuit and arc flash studies, and participate in field surveys and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Engineer‑in‑Training candidate encouraged to pursue PE.
• LEED AP is desired.
• Combo of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior engineers, designers, and staff on your team.
• Review, comment, and process submittals with Engineer of Record.
• Develop power, lighting, and auxiliary system designs.
• Create power system single-line diagrams and feeder sizing.
• Perform short circuit, over current protection, and arc flash studies.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades.
• Visit job sites for field surveys and on‑site field assignments.
• Attend project design team meetings and owner/contractor reviews.
