Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineer II to provide technical engineering support under senior engineers, ensuring projects comply with standards and codes. You will handle power distribution, lighting, grounding, energy conservation, and value engineering for constructible projects.

The role involves leading teams on smaller projects, reviewing submittals, and developing operation sequences. Strong CAD/analysis tool skills and field participation are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior engineers, designers, and staff; lead projects of limited scope.
• Review equipment and system submittals with Engineer of Record.
• Generate electrical specifications for projects.
• Develop complete sequences of operation for electrical systems.
• Support testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Prepare power distribution designs and single-line diagrams.
• Perform short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash analyses.
• Develop and maintain SCCAF models using ETAP/SKM/EasyPower.
• Produce reports on system protection and coordination.
• Conduct voltage drop, regulation, conductor sizing, and fault current calculations.
• Visit jobsites to collect data and verify conditions.
• Research and resolve technical issues and constructability concerns.
