Job summary
Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineer II to provide technical engineering support, ensuring projects meet standards, codes, and specifications. You will lead teams, review submittals, and develop power and lighting designs for constructible projects.
Ideal candidates bring knowledge in power distribution, grounding, energy conservation, and value engineering, with Autodesk and Office proficiency. Field surveys and site visits are involved.
Qualifications
- Electrical engineering knowledge: power distribution, lighting, grounding, energy conservation.
- Experience with high-rise, commercial, and data center projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in Autodesk and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency with codes and energy efficiency requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee junior engineers, designers, and staff on your work or team.
- Review and process equipment and system submittals with Engineer of Record.
- Generate electrical specifications for projects.
- Develop complete sequences of operations for all designed systems.
- Coordinate across architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical trades.
- Visit job sites for field surveys and on-site assignments.
