Job summary
Rosendin Electric is seeking an Engineer II to provide technical electrical engineering support for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and energy conservation on state-of-the-art, constructible projects. The role involves delivering sequences of operation, system modeling, and field surveys to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2+ years of experience, and may pursue PE registration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) is acceptable; PE registration encouraged.
- LEED AP is desired for this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee junior engineers and staff on projects of limited scope.
- Review submittals and coordinate with Engineer of Record.
- Develop electrical design calculations and system specifications.
- Create single-line diagrams and feeder sizing/performance analyses.
- Support testing, startup, and commissioning activities during projects.
- Coordinate with architects, structures, MEP, and utilities; attend design meetings.
