Job summary

Rosendin Electric seeks an Engineer II to provide technical engineering information and support to senior engineers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and codes for state-of-the-art designs.

You will oversee junior engineers, review submittals, develop power and lighting systems, perform protection studies, and coordinate with architects, contractors, and the client while visiting sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Engineering experience and PE track are encouraged; EIT may be pursued.
• LEED AP is desired for this position.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior engineers and staff on your team.
• Review submittals and coordinate with the Engineer of Record.
• Develop power, lighting, and auxiliary systems designs.
• Prepare single-line diagrams and protection sizing.
• Conduct short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical trades.
• Visit job sites and perform field surveys as needed.
• Attend design team and Owner/Contractor meetings.
