Job summary

Superior is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our electrical construction projects on site in Conesville, Ohio. You will help improve field operations, manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation while coordinating with foremen and vendors.

The role involves tracking schedules, assisting with bidding and contract administration, and gaining exposure to project finance in collaboration with Project Operations and Finance leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site.
• Degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field, or a Construction Management certificate.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation and submission of RFIs and ensure RFIs are integrated into project documents.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the life cycle of the submittal process.
• Support creation, submission, and management of change orders.
• Capture progress by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite.
• Monitor the project schedule and provide updates to leadership.
• Work with the Foreman on material and equipment delivery to the jobsite.
• Lead project close-out, including warranties, waivers, as-builts, and attic stock.
• Develop understanding of project finance with Ops and Finance leadership.
