Job summary

Superior is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward in Jeffersonville, Ohio. The role supports scheduling, bidding, contract administration, and on-site operations, reporting to the Project Manager.

You will coordinate with vendors, manage RFIs, change orders, and track progress with field leadership. The position is full-time on-site with a focus on safety, documentation, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site or related internship.
• Degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field or a Construction Management certificate.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation and submission of RFIs and integrate RFIs into project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the submittal process lifecycle.
• Support creation, submission, and management of change orders.
• Capture project progress by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite.
• Monitor the project schedule and provide updates to leadership.
• Work with the Foreman on material and equipment delivery to the jobsite.
• Lead project close-out including documents, warranties, waivers, as-builts, and attic stock.
• Develop understanding of project finance in collaboration with operations and finance.
