Job summary

Superior is seeking a Commissioning Assistant Project Manager to support on-site commissioning operations at Conesville, Ohio. You will assist in documentation, turnover packages, and coordination with field electricians and QA inspectors while supporting the QA and Commissioning team.

This role focuses on building the commissioning management foundation, tracking readiness, and assembling turnover packages, with growth into a full Commissioning Project Manager line on a site-based role.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in commercial construction, QA/QC, commissioning support, or project coordination.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and construction management software or other applicable systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the build out of commissioning management software.
• Assist in assembling turnover documentation packages.
• Manage checklist and documentation tracking logs.
• Maintain logs for deficiencies, open items, and punch list status.
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of startup and testing activities.
• Track commissioning-related constraints and potential risks.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and capture action items.
• Work directly with field electricians, QA inspectors, and commissioning engineers.
• Support resolution tracking of field-identified quality issues.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and field operations.
• Participate in site walks to develop understanding of medium and low voltage power distribution.
