Zusammenfassung

RWE Americas, LLC seeks a mid-level Engineer II, Electrical BoP Engineer to support balance of plant and substation systems. You will perform short-circuit studies, arc flash analyses, and develop ETAP models while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Operations, Asset Management, and Compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in power systems engineering, experience with high voltage equipment, and familiarity with NERC PRC-019/024.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or Physics.
EIT preferred, pursuing PE certification.
Minimum 3 years in power systems engineering with short‑circuit and arc flash experience.
Experience with high voltage power systems equipment and BOP/substation knowledge.
Familiarity with NERC standards (PRC-019, PRC-024) and protective device coordination.

Aufgaben

Perform and review short-circuit studies and arc flash analyses.
Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce incident energy.
Prepare one-line diagrams, protective device coordination, and arc flash labeling.
Develop and maintain electrical system models using ETAP.
Collaborate with project teams and clients to gather system data and inputs.
