Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to develop design documentation and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline leads. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, ensuring alignment with Jacobs and client BIM standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong BIM skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with engineers and architects on data center-related projects.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of electrical systems design experience.
• Understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models across disciplines.
• Create coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings.
• Coordinate with discipline leads, architects, and engineers.
• Follow Jacobs design standards and client BIM standards.
• Estimate hours for design and modeling efforts.
