Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to join our engineering team. You will set up and manage Revit BIM models, coordinate with discipline leads, and produce 3D models and 2D drawings according to Jacobs and client standards.

You bring at least 3 years of BIM design and electrical systems experience, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. The role offers hybrid work across U.S. offices and a base salary range of $71,000–$90,800.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of electrical systems design experience.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Growing understanding of design and construction specs and their function.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and setup/management of Revit BIM models.
• Coordinate with discipline BIM leads and team members.
• Create and manage 3D models across disciplines and 2D construction drawings.
• Ensure clash-free models by following Jacobs design standards.
