Job summary

PTS Advance seeks a technically skilled Sales Engineer to tailor electrical products and solutions for customers across the sales cycle. You will help select technologies, prepare documentation, and serve as a technical resource during quoting and proposals.

You will work with internal sales and service teams to develop customized solutions, coordinate demos, and support contract negotiations. A degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience is required; travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; alternative with 4+ years experience accepted.
• Experience with power distribution upgrades, relay upgrades, drives, or switchgear modifications preferred.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and willingness to travel up to 20% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver customized electrical solutions and packages with your team.
• Understand customer requirements and explain how proposed solutions meet their needs.
• Coordinate and support product demos and technical presentations.
• Assist with sales proposals and contract negotiations to win new business.
