Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in a hands-on lab environment. This role focuses on setting up tests, assisting with prototype assembly, and analyzing electrical components down to the PCB level.

You will document findings, maintain safety, and collaborate with global development teams to troubleshoot and prevent recurring issues, ensuring products meet performance and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical testing experience in a lab setting.
• Ability to read schematics and identify components.
• Experience with AC/DC power circuits under 20kVA.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams globally.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform product tests requested by product engineers.
• Assist with the assembly and evaluation of prototype units.
• Perform product tear-downs and technical analysis down to the PCB level.
• Troubleshoot electrical and product-related issues in a methodical and efficient manner.
• Document and report test findings in a clear and organized manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive electrical testing lab environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global development teams.
• Support the identification and prevention of recurring technical issues.
