Job summary

PTS Advance seeks an experienced field-service professional to lead support for power system equipment operations, inspections, maintenance, and repair. The role emphasizes on-site coordination with field engineers and leadership to ensure reliable power delivery and system reliability.

You will travel up to 70% to install, test, and commission equipment, respond to outages, and drive high levels of customer service and safety compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in power systems, commissioning, testing, or maintenance.
• High school diploma required; formal education can be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage switchgear, MCCs, generators, transformers, electromechanical equipment, protective relays, PLCs/DCS, and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures, both internal and on customer sites.
• Install, maintain, repair, and commission equipment related to power delivery, control systems, outages, and power quality.
• Support planned and unplanned outages as needed.
• Work closely with field engineers and leadership to execute projects efficiently.
• Build strong working relationships with teammates and customers.
• Deliver a high level of service that helps drive repeat business and referrals.
