Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role may require travel to various locations, including the production plant, for vehicle support as needed. Open to multiple seniority levels and located across listed sites in several states, including Ladson, SC.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high-quality customer service, with opportunities for training and career growth in a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Fluent in English (reading/speaking).
• Flexible for 40-hour weeks including potential weekend/holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect Rivian vehicles in service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian products and EV framework to customers.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Perform road tests to verify repairs and document results.
• Manage parts, orders, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Provide feedback to senior technicians and leadership.
