Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking a Digital Consulting Client Engagement Manager to partner with electric utility clients in Morristown, NJ. You will drive customer conversations, understand needs, and shape technology solutions that deliver measurable business value.

You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams, manage proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and sales plans, and collaborate with sales and marketing to grow the footprint. Strong consulting acumen and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, IT or related field; additional experience may substitute.
At least 7 years of related experience; consulting with external customers preferred.
Experience deploying/integrating operational technology in utility space.
Proven ability to develop solutions that drive business impact.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage client relationships to understand needs and drive opportunities.
Lead client-focused strategies and sales plans for consulting services.
Collaborate with partners to create strategic sales plans and collateral.
Guide teams through the full sales process and RFIs/RFPs.
Support QA/QC and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Partner with sales and marketing to expand the business footprint.
Mentor staff and share expertise within project teams.
