Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking a Digital Consulting Client Engagement Manager to partner with electric utility clients, understand challenges, and implement technology-focused solutions that drive more efficient operations.

You will lead strategic sales, coordinate cross-functional teams, and develop proposals to win work. The role requires strong relationship-building, consulting experience with external customers, and deep knowledge of IT/OT in the utility sector.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree or higher in a computing/IT discipline.
7+ years of related experience; 3+ years in consulting with external customers preferred.
Experience deploying/ integrating operational technology platforms for clients.
Ability to define solutions and grow opportunities with customers.
Strong relationship-building and selling capabilities.
Knowledge of Electric Utility industry and IT/OT convergence.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage client relationships to identify needs and drive opportunities.
Lead client-focused strategies and sales plans for consulting services and solutions.
Collaborate with partners to create and execute strategic sales plans.
Present consulting services and solutions to clients both virtually and in person.
Guide teams in capturing customer requirements and delivering technology implementations.
Mentor staff and promote continuous improvement within the team.
