Job summary

Eversource Energy in the United States is seeking a Service Request Coordinator within the Electric Service Support Center. You will handle high volumes of customer calls and correspondence for residential and commercial electric service installs, upgrades, and removals, ensuring complete and usable work requests.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical technology or related discipline or two years of related experience.
• Two years of related experience.
• Electrical license; Journeyman or Master Electrician is desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain information relevant to the design and construction of the service request and respond to questions from the customer.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for the customer, contractor, and/or municipal official(s).
• Provide applicable upfront cost estimates.
• Process electrical inspections, prepayments, and contributions in aid of construction from its customers.
• Handle certain non-design job types; from customer initiation to completion.
• Interact with Eversource employees across the organization; including but not limited to Engineering, Electric Operations, Customer Billing Services, and Remittance Services.
• Support Engineering, Electric Operations and other areas as necessary with updating work requests with field notes, customer appointments, and work request progress.
• Work an emergency storm assignment as required.
