Job summary

Eversource Energy in East Berlin, Connecticut is hiring for Technician C in the Electric Service Support Center (SW). The role focuses on handling high volumes of customer requests via phone, email, and web portals, processing service changes for residential and commercial customers.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of combined education and/or related experience.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
• Aptitude test will be administered.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Obtain information relevant to design and construction of the service request and respond to customer questions.
• Serve as primary contact and advocate for customer, contractor, and municipal officials.
• Provide upfront cost estimates when applicable.
• Process inspections, prepayments, and contributions in aid of construction.
• Handle non-design job types from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Electric Operations, and Billing teams.
