Job summary

Rangam Consultants is seeking a diligent customer service professional to own the handling of external requests for electric or gas service, ensuring satisfaction through issue resolution during the transactional service fulfillment lifecycle.

Responsibilities include acting as the primary contact, processing CIAC and non-utility billing, designing simple electric service work, and coordinating with stakeholders to fulfill service orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer support role, preferably corporate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Excellent phone and computer skills with ability to multi-task.
• Highly organized with ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with responsibility for addressing problems and concerns.
• Desire to work well in a team, aligned with the motto "Here with you, Here for you."

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers to provide support and resolve issues.
• Ensure electric service orders are communicated and delivered against service level agreements.
• Perform, validate, or process non-utility billing/CIAC per tariffs and policy for electric service projects.
• Complete the design and cost estimates for simple electric service work.
• Process electric service contracts or agreements so that customers can have service construction work completed.
• Work with stakeholders to support the fulfillment of customers' requests for electric or gas service.
